Whats new this week....

What can I say.....after footing it around the Lifeline Bookfest today with Glen, Jo and Kerri...the car boot is FULL (and here's the photo to prove it)

...and yes...the every bag is full of Books, but we did manage to visit our good friends 'The Burgers' (Mike & Lizzie Hilburger) from HOBOHEMIA @ 185a Given Tce Paddington. What an amazing shop. Full of a wonderful mix for the eclectic collector. Here are a couple of snaps from their shop....and do yourself a favour...check them out.

Whats new for us this week....well apart from BOOKS...we also found acquired an amazing cane day lounge with matching side table / picture plates / art / glass / old musical instruments / retro china / and much more. Be sure to drop in to our shop and say hi at 185 Brisbane Street Ipswich. Till next time....x

New Treasures found ...

Well...with christmas and new year all over for another year, it is hard to believe that we are already nearly 1/2 way through the first month of 2012.....and there are already chocolates on the shelves for Easter !!! We have not stopped either, finding new treasures for you to admire and consider. This weeks collection includes a 1920's Bentwood Carver chair in amazing condition, a vintage walking doll (has been very loved...) an early brass / copper bed pan, a McCredie Australian Pottery Tea Pot with matching sugar bowl and 2 cups and saucers.....perfect for the Australian Pottery collector.
And it seems that hi-tea's are still the in thing, so we have a good selection of English trio's, just perfect for that morning or afternoon get together. Enjoy, and hope to see you at The Vintage Advantage soon.
